Skeppsholmsbron, was the first forging iron bridge to be constructed in Sweden in 1861. In 1935 this bridge on the island of Skeppsholmen was classified as a historical landmark, thus prohibiting replacing the bridge or changing its exterior, a decision nevertheless reassessed in the 1990's.
