The Central Bridge carries traffic from the old town in the north to the island of Sodermalm in the south. It measures 1,200 meters in length and consists of two viaducts passing over the southern and northern stream with an elevated section passing the Riddarholm canal and the eastern waterfront of Riddarholmen. Central Bridge has a capacity of 130,000 cars per day.
