London - The Cutty Sark
The Cutty Sark was one of the last British tea clippers to be built and one of the fastest. The 94-foot vessel, richly decorated with gold leaf and ornately carved, has a history of 200 years back when kings and queens travelled by water in opulent style. After it was badly damaged by fire in 2007, the Cutty Sark has been restored with a cost of £50m, and was reopened to the public in 2012. It is now elevated so visitors can see it from underneath as well as climb aboard.
