Copenhagen - Polar Bears in Copenhagen Zoo
The Copenhagen Zoo, founded in 1859, is one of the oldest zoos in Europe. It sits on 11 hectares or 27 acres in the municipality of Frederiksberg. It is also the most visited zoo and 4th most visited attraction in Denmark with over 1 million visitors annually. One of the zoo's notable buildings is the new Elephant House designed by British architect Sir Norman Foster.
