London - St. Pancras International
St. Pancras Station was designed in 1863 by William Barlow and was completed two years later. The railway station is a fine example of Victorian architecture which also makes it the most famous of the railway stations in London. It combines iron and stone framework with the brick walls. Its train shed, the Barlow Shed, is considered one of the great engineering achievements of Victorian architecture and was the largest single-span roof in the world when it opened.
Along with the arrival of the Eurostar trains on its tracks, St. Pancras Station was transformed into a modern international station in 2007. There are high speed connections many cities including Paris, Lille and Brussels.
