The Grand Atrium lobby of the GE Building in the Rockefeller center is adorned by an ornate chandelier called "Joie." It was designed by German artist Michael Hammers. Measuring 35 feet tall, the chandelier contains 450 free-hanging strands and 14,000 Swarovski crystals. It echoes the outline of “30 Rock”, the building that is the heart of Rockefeller Center.
