New York City - View of Empire State Building

Perhaps the best view of New York City can be found from the Top of the Rock. Although freezing cold during my visit, I still think you get to appreciate the city more from this perspective, away from the maddening crowd, noise and traffic, yet still get the essence of why New York is the way it is - a city that never sleeps.

The 70th floor observation deck of the Top of Rock can be accessed through the GE Building in Rockefeller Center. From here, one can take in breathtaking views of the Empire State Building, Central Park, the landmark bridges and as far as the Statue of Liberty on the Hudson river.

*As always, all my photos here are free to share on your wall so your friends can see them too.
