Nice Carnival is one of the world's oldest and largest carnivals with origins since 1294. Giant floats and colorful parades take place daily and night at Promenade des Anglais and Place Massena, with entertainment provided by over 1,000 musicians and dancers from across the world. The Carnival starts before Lent and ends with Mardi Gras.
