Salford - The Detroit Bridge in the Huron and Erie Basins

The Detroit Bridge is a Salford Quays landmark that offers an excellent vantage point for the Salford Triathlon ITU World Cup. It had originally been used as a railway swing bridge, spanning the Manchester Ship Canal to the west of the Trafford Road swing bridge. The 80-metre long footbridge which spans Dock 9, linking Harbour City and Metrolink to The Lowry and The Designer Outlet, can't be missed with its original red and blue colors.
