Zaragoza - Pabellón Puente
The Pabellón Puente was
Inspired by the gladiolus flower, designed by prestigious architect by Zaha Hadid. Used as an entrance and the main pavilion for Expo Zaragoza 2008, it has remained in the city as an emblem of innovation and spectacular architecture. One end of the flower`s stem rests on one bank of the river while the other, split into three branches, rests on the other bank. A covered structure, the outer skin is inspired by the image of shark scales. Looking at the bridge takes you back to your childhood and science fiction fuelled imaginations.
