Mostar- Coffee Pots for Bosnian Coffee
The origin of this coffee dates all the way back to the 13th century during the Ottoman occupation of Bosnia. Although similar in a way to Turkish coffee, it is usually made with Bosnian coffee brands. During preparation, before the water reaches boiling point, a small amount is saved aside for later. The ground coffee beans are added to the pot, after which the saved water is also added, and then everything is set to boil. Drinking coffee is a tradition and a social event in Bosnia.
